I initially ordered three different pairs of black flats through Amazon to compare in person and choose one to keep for my black work flat. You can kind of see in the picture that the black in these is a bit faded in appearance (on purpose) which was my initial drawback with the shoe. I ended up going with these over the other two because of the comfort and how cute they are. This is my first pair of OTBT but I've tried others on in the past and there is a lot more cushion in these than in most flats which makes them great to wear all day. The subdued black does wear off a bit and becomes a shinier black but I actually prefer this look to the appearance when I first received them. Overall a great purchase and I will be looking for more OTBT shoes in the future!
