They are beautiful. Because they are smaller than a regular place mat, I can fit 8 on a smaller size table with no problem. Everyone that has seen them on the table has commented on how much hey like them. They don't show once you put a dinner plate on them, but that's ok, they keep my table from being scratched by the bottom of plates. Look beautiful with a black watch plaid table runner and my Christmas table runner.
