Thick material. Cleans nicely and wears well.Fits my decor and table and love the width !Love these! They look beautiful and are truly a recycled denim. Only 4 stars bc my etiquette mom pointed out straight away that the pocket needs to be on the left (that’s where forks go!). Also plan to press with steam iron when they arrive. But overall the perfect addition!Love these and will be ordering a second set. Remember to cold water wash and hang so they don’t shrink. I just use my craft iron to touch them up.I really love the style and the fabric if these placements. I really like the pocket where to but the silverware. The mats themselves are rustic in design, as befits a denim fabric, but they are very well cut and stitched, with the neatest stitching and turns I have seen in items that are not home made. All seams have been finished to prevent fraying and, although there is no lining, the mats are thick enough that they don’t need one. Each mat has a small pocket stitched to the front right of the map, which is intended to be used to hold cutlery.The mats are neatly folded and then tied together with string and come with a label explaining the company ethos of using fabric and thread that would otherwise go to landfill and ensuring their own waste is composted rather than just thrown away. It is a good back story to go with very nicely made place mats.This is a set of four placemats.They are made of upcycled denim, so are reducing waste.These are beautifully made, the stitching is just perfect and after a quick iron (they arrive folded) they lay flat. There is a small pocket for cutlery too. I love the pale stonewash look and they add a contemporary look to any table. As they are denim they are hardwearing and washable.Overall, great looking, contemporary placemats that are eco friendly and high quality.
