When I ordered these I thought that they would be a little thicker for the price. I’m pretty sure that I could have printed a design off of my computer and laminated it and it would have worked better. They send them rolled up so I laid them out flat with a weight on them for a week. When I went to put them on the table they still curled up and won’t lay flat. It was just money wasted. The only good thing that I can say about them is that I do like the design on them. It matched my dining room very well. My advice is to find a design that you like, print it out and cover it with clear contact paper. It will lay flat and be much more durable than these are.I was disappointed they came rolled up , so when I put them on the table none of them layed flat, also they are thin , But there beautifulVery nice colors but almost paper like! My remedy was to laminate them after trimming scalloped edging. They came out flawless!Beautiful design but very thin. Came rolled up and can’t get them flat again. Not much thicker than a paper plastic tray liner at a fast food restaurantI ordered these placemats as I searched for fabric placemats. They were described as polyester. The color is lovely but they are thin as paper. As a matter of fact I thought they WERE paper. Definitely not what I expected. I will be returning them.I like the color of this placemat, but not the material, had to iron to remove the roll up corners, and I wanted material and not paper, literally. But it looks ok for now.These are very beautiful place mats that will add spice to your table decor. They are THIN (not padded underneath), but durable enough for indoor/outdoor use. I highly recommend.Easy to wipe off food
