This bowl is hand carved in South Luangwa, Zambia. Using locally sourced mukwa wood, each handcrafted bowl has a giraffe pattern on the outside. Handmade by Drobeck - one of our longest artisan members, it makes for the perfect serving bowl or platter on your table. 

The artisans from Luangwa Artisan Collective are independent artisans that work out from Tribal Textiles, and all sale proceeds go directly to them and their families. We train those local artists in product development and business skills such as merchandising, accounting and pricing. We work with them to create beautiful products and give them access to local and international wholesale markets. We built for them an all-weather work and market place on Tribal Textiles ground, where they can sell to visitors.
