This hand-carved bowl is made from locally sourced mukwa wood and crafted in South Luangwa, Zambia, by the Luangwa Artisan Collective—a group of independent artisans working from Tribal Textiles. Each purchase directly supports them and their families. We provide training in product development and essential business skills like merchandising, accounting, and pricing, helping them build sustainable livelihoods. To further support their craft, we’ve built a dedicated all-weather workspace and marketplace at Tribal Textiles, where they can sell their work to visitors.

With its smooth, organic shape, this oval platter is handcrafted by Drobeck—one of our longest-standing artisans. Whether used as a serving bowl or platter, it adds natural elegance to any table.
